This Privacy Policy explains how Cargofy Inc. ("Cargofy", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data submitted through the Cargofy Careers website (the "Site"). This policy applies to all job applicants regardless of location, including the European Economic Area (EEA), United States, Ukraine, and Central Asia.

When you apply for a position, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, resume/CV, cover letter, links to professional profiles (e.g. LinkedIn, GitHub), and any additional information you voluntarily provide. We also automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and access timestamps.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For applicants in the EEA and UK, we process your data under the following legal bases: (a) your consent, provided when you submit your application; (b) our legitimate interest in evaluating candidates for employment; and (c) pre-contractual measures necessary to assess your candidacy. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
4. Purpose of Processing
We use your personal data exclusively for: evaluating your application for the specific position you applied to; communicating with you about your application status; considering you for other suitable openings (with your consent); complying with legal obligations; and improving our recruitment processes.
5. Data Retention
Your application data is retained for up to 12 months after the conclusion of the recruitment process. After this period, your data is permanently deleted unless you have given consent to be considered for future positions or a longer retention period is required by law. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with: Cargofy employees involved in the hiring process; third-party service providers who assist with recruitment (e.g., applicant tracking systems), bound by data processing agreements; and government authorities when required by applicable law. EEA/UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
